What is the range of appraisals you provide
We appraise everything from one-location restaurants and doctor’s offices to large fleets of trucks to whole warehouses of equipment.
What will I need for the appointment?
The CMEA Appraiser will arrive at a pre-determined time and will need a guided tour of the business, including all equipment to be appraised. He will take pictures and ask questions, so the guide should be well-informed about the equipment, its operation, and condition. Figure 15 minutes per piece of equipment.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes! We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express
Is this service confidential:
YES! We understand the need for confidentiality. Confidentiality is pledged in writing in the letter of engagement, and only the specified people will receive copies of the appraisal.
When do I pay?
At least half must be paid before services are rendered, in accordance with the USPAP Standards and Practices. The remainder is payable on delivery.
Can you appraise my land and building?
Yes, but we need to subcontract out to a real estate appraiser. We’ll take care of the arrangements and give you one appraisal and one bill.
For how long are appraisals valid?
that varies, but appraisals are usually good accurate for 12-18 months
